When we started this little adventure back in 2021 we never expected to be here! Another year has flown by and we are filled with overwhelming gratitude for you - our amazing customers and of course our friends and family.
This year brought personal challenges for Nina, her mum was diagnosed with cancer, a very rare occurrence since she beat it 30 years ago! She split her time between home life, work life and minding her mum up in Dublin for the first 6 months of the year and we really missed her!
Thankfully things have stabilised for now and then work got very busy. Running a physical store, and online store, and heading off nationwide to work festivals and other pop-up day events meant we were away from home a lot and met LOADS of gorgeous people who let us know how much they love the brand!
Every year has its standout moments and 2025 was no exception. Here are a few highlights:
- we opened our store in the heart of Wexford town!
- we won 3 Golds at the Gradaim Gnó
- Nina was a contestant in the first season of RTE's The Traitors Ireland. And she wore Sully and Juno every day she was filming!
- Our Saoirse t-shirt raised in excess for €1000 for charity and we had the wonderful opportunity to meet the lads behind Gaza Cola. We were only delighted to be able to support the cause by buying cases and cases of Gaza Cola to sell and raise even more money for Palestine House.
What we learned along the way was that family and friends are the core of who we are. Without either we could simply not do all the things we need and want to do. We learned to ask for help. We learned new depths of patience and understanding when things became overwhelming, And finally, we learned its ok to try something new and then change your mind.
We loved having a base in the heart of Wexford town, our adopted home since we are both from Dublin originally. But running a shop is hard work, even longer hours and expensive. Having staff, insurance and council tax to name a few meant that although we were busy, it still cost us too much money to remain viable, So at the end of Dec we decided we would close the doors and return to online and festivals only.
Plenty of new ideas and adventures planned for 2026!
